As a 47-year-old resident of Newcastle, Shropshire, I have always cherished countryside escapes that blend rustic charm with comfort. My recent stay at a lovely hotel in Mestia encapsulated everything I adore: from the terrace gardens to the warm and inviting atmosphere, it felt like visiting family. The property beautifully combined a central location with clean and cozy accommodations. I particularly appreciated the ample storage, the delightful breakfast spread-which included local honey and jams-and the attentive service. Even when we arrived late, the staff were gracious and accommodating, ensuring we felt at home. The owner, an English teacher, was not only welcoming but her fluency made communication seamless. With a serene rooftop view of the Caucasus and access to outdoor activities nearby, my family and I experienced an ideal family getaway that we would wholeheartedly recommend.
